Fat Daddy's Sound Shack is an all ages BYOB venue. Our complete mission is to support the local music scene. We are not a club. We are a music venue.

To book a show at Fat Daddy's Sound Shack, all you have to do is read the following, fill out the online booking form completely and PRESELL tickets.

TO PLAY A SHOW AT FAT DADDY'S EACH BAND MUST PRE-SELL 10 TICKETS.

Have you ever handed out flyers, or spoke to your fans, and they all said they are coming to your show only to find out the day of the show that those that promised to come to your show never come?

To help you, we now offer custom pre-sell tickets for every band. We strongly suggest pre-selling more than 10. When you have a fan that says they are coming, ask them to buy a ticket. We have found that helps the attendance of every band and promotion of the total show.

The pay scale is the same, so if you sell 1-24 (mandatory pre-sell of 10) tickets you will keep $1 per ticket. If you sell 25 tickets you keep $100 and turn in the rest of the ticket money. If you pre-sell tickets for a local show the money for the pre-sell tickets MUST be turned in before you load in the day of your show.

It is mandatory that you pre-sell at least 10 tickets to play a show. AND YES, THIS RULE DOES APPLY TO TOURING BANDS AS WELL. The best way to combat this while being on the road is to find a local band that is playing with you, and see if they would be willing to sell tickets in the DFW area on your behalf.

WHY DO WE DO THIS?!

The answer is simple: we ALL want TONS of people out to see YOUR band so we can have a great show! You do your part by selling your 10, and all of the other bands are doing the same, so that GAURANTEES at least 60-70 people.

This is a great way to make sure your fans come to your show. The tickets will feature your band name. When your show is confirmed. We will email you a PDF of your tickets for you to print.

*NOTE: THIS PAY SCALE IS BASED ON A $12 TICKET. THIS PAY SCALE IS NOT VALID IF YOU ARE PLAYING A SHOW THAT HAS A GUARANTEE.

We pay bands per fan that say they are there to see your band. We keep a tally at the door, and ask everyone who they are there to see. As you know you are paid by the attendance your band draws, because you pre-sold 10 tickets you will make $10. If you want to make more you must promote your show. Remember 50% of the music business is promotion and 50% is music talent. If you want to build a fan base, you must promote your shows.
